PO Sync

How can we help?

Support for purchase-order comparisons and merchant-approved transfer corrections.

Contact PO Sync

Email iperrelli202@gmail.com. PO Sync is operated by Isaiah Perrelli. This page does not require a Shopify login.

Include your shop domain, purchase-order and transfer numbers, the approximate time and time zone, and the message shown in the app. A cropped screenshot can help; remove unrelated merchant or customer information first.

Never send Shopify passwords, session tokens, API credentials, encryption keys or database backups. No guaranteed response time is currently offered.

A sync timed out or could not be verified

A change may already have reached Shopify. Do not retry the synchronization, manually reverse the change or clear a lock. Check the transfer and app history without editing, then contact support with the operation reference if one is available.

Further changes may remain blocked until the outcome is investigated. An error message does not prove that nothing changed.

Understanding the status

  • In sync: the latest comparison found matching quantities. Later changes in Shopify can make that result stale.
  • Out of sync: the comparison found a mismatch. Review the proposed correction before approving it.
  • Needs review: the app cannot safely apply some or all corrections. Read the explanation and inspect the records in Shopify.

Quantity previews always read current transfer quantity → target purchase-order quantity. For example, 15 → 12 proposes reducing the transfer to 12 units.

How do I get started?

  1. Open PO Sync from Apps in your Shopify admin. There is no separate PO Sync account.
  2. Use a native Shopify purchase order with its linked inventory transfer. Matching product names alone do not create a link.
  3. Open an out-of-sync purchase order and review the current-to-target quantity preview and any manual-review explanation.
  4. For eligible changes, read the concurrent-edit notice, select the approval checkbox and click Sync transfer once.
  5. Wait for verification. Check the result and History before making any further changes.

Do not ship, receive or edit the same transfer while approving a correction. If synchronization is disabled, contact support rather than trying to bypass the safety controls.

Why is Sync transfer disabled?

Corrections require an eligible DRAFT transfer, a current preview, merchant approval, an authorized staff session, current subscription access and an enabled store. Received, shipped, allocated or ambiguous quantities can require manual review. A safety lock or disabled write access also blocks synchronization.

Do not change a transfer's status just to bypass a restriction. If only some items are eligible, the app can apply approved eligible changes while leaving other items for review. A partial result is not the same as the entire purchase order being in sync.

Does PO Sync change inventory automatically?

No. Background monitoring checks for differences approximately every five minutes under normal conditions. Rate limits, outages or access problems can delay checks. Corrections require your review and approval, and Shopify can still receive external changes during synchronization.

Plans and access

Use Manage plan in the embedded app to open Shopify's pricing page. Shopify displays the applicable price, trial and subscription terms. Scheduled cancellation can retain access until the current entitlement period ends. Contact us if the app cannot verify a subscription you believe is active; do not send payment-card details.

The Standard plan is $9.99/month with a 14-day trial for eligible paid installations. Shopify's approval page confirms your applicable terms. Development/testing plans can differ; a private testing plan is not a public free tier.

Does uninstalling undo a synchronization?

No. Uninstalling does not reverse changes already applied in Shopify. App-session cleanup and privacy deletion are separate from Shopify inventory changes. See the privacy policy for retained history and backup limitations.
